Our School

We are based in a large Victorian house in Whitley Bay,  overlooking the sea.

Our lovely host families all live within walking distance of the school.

We like to think of ourselves as a little school with a big heart.  We provide a warm, caring and supportive environment for our students.

Everything was fantastic.  I loved my stay here.  Thank you for everything.  Everybody was so kind!
I’ll never forget you and I’ll miss you.  See you soon insha’allah!  Ophelie, Morocco

Over the years we have supported many charities and local events:

We provided a free Summer school to 15 teenagers from L’Aquila Italy whose homes and lives had been devastated by the terrible earthquake in 2009.

In 2010, 2011 and 2012 we hosted the Children of Shatila, groups of Palestinian refugee children who visited our town to perform a play in English and enjoy a respite break.

We hosted a group from Germany who participated in the InterTwinned festival organised by the Theatre Royal in Newcastle.

We raised £200 for Comic Relief through an event on our Facebook Page and we became main sponsors (along with Mark Knopfler) of Act2Cam, a film-making project for young people in our town. We raised £100 on Christmas Jumper Day in 2014.

More recently we have regularly sponsored two local children to attend an activity holiday at High Borrans in The Lake District.

Thank you so much.  This is the best English School IN THE WORLD! Veronika, Russia
